Jaswant Singh Rawat| The story of the movie '72 Hours', based on the power of the martyr Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, who smoked the teeth of Chinese soldiers in the 1962 Indo-China war, came alive after coming out of the curtain. 80-year-old Balram Balodi, a resident of Balasore, near Kotdwar town in Pauri district, had also come to see the movie 72 Hours. Originally Balram, a resident of rural Pilli of Rikhnikhal block, points out that in March 1960 he was admitted to the fourth battalion of the Garhwal Rifles Regiment. While Jaswant Singh Rawat became part of this battalion in October.

When he remembers the things of the past, he suddenly wakes up the atmosphere of war on his Zubbe when he was facing the Chinese soldiers in the 'war zone', which is known today as Jaswant Garh, due to the bravery of Jaswant Singh goes. Balram explains that in the war, all the soldiers of nine Punjab Regiment and Nine Gorkha Rifles had got the Veergati. After this, four Garhwal Rifles will get orders to take care of the morcha. The Chinese soldiers took Indian soldiers caught here from the capital of Tibet to Lhasa. In the camp where they were kept, there were a thousand soldiers including those. There was heavy atrocities on Indian soldiers in Lhasa, but no one related to the security of the country did not open any of the secrets related to the Chinese army before the Chinese army. After the mutual agreement between the two countries, Indian soldiers were released on 18th May 1963.

The 80-year-old honorary Capt. Balakrod Balodi has cherished memories related to the 1962 war. He has handled the letter sent by Army to his mother Chandra Devi in December 1962, in which the information of his disappearance was reported. Balram has also kept the letter which he sent his family during the captivity of the Chinese army. Even today, the Chinese government's postage stamp is fixed on the envelope.
