Teachers' Day In Hindi there is a slogan that " Bin Guru Gyan Kahan" means without a teacher there is no wisdom. A teacher plays an important role in every person's life. The first step to success is the Guru through which we move forward in life.

As you know every year we celebrate Teachers' Day on every 5th September. Since childhood, we have seen that on this day all the students express their gratitude to the teachers. But do you know why Teachers' Day is celebrated? If not, know today about the history of this day.
On 5 September, Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan, former President of India and great educationist, was born. His birthday is celebrated as Teachers' Day. This great president said that the whole world is a school from where one gets to learn something. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan said that if you ever get to learn something good and informative in life, it should be imbibed immediately. He used to pay attention to his intellectual development rather than teaching his students

Once some of Radha Krishnan's disciples thought of celebrating his birthday together. When they reached to get his permission to clebrate it, Radhakrishnan said that instead of celebrating my birthday separately, I would be proud if I would celebrate Teachers' Day. Since then, the day of September 5 has been celebrated as Teachers' Day. Let us tell you that for the first time Teachers' Day was celebrated in 1962.
