Article 370 |The Narendra Modi government has taken a historic decision regarding Kashmir. The government has introduced the Kashmir Reservation Amendment Bill in the Rajya Sabha today. Under which Article 370 was eliminated. With this, Article 35A also ended.
Opposition leaders have been creating ruckus in the House ever since the bill was introduced. The House of which had to adjourn for a while.
Now Jammu and Kashmir will not be a complete state and Jammu and Kashmir will be the Union Territory but it will be like the Delhi Assembly.
Apart from this, Ladakh will be separated from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will be the eighth Union Territory of the country and there will be no assembly meeting in Ladakh now.
Jammu and Kashmir's tenure of tenure will be five years. The powers of the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir will be reduced now. In Jammu and Kashmir it will now work as other states. Like Delhi in Jammu and Kashmir, instead of the Governor there would be the Deputy Governor.
