Eight countries of the Indian Ocean region started the process of giving names to the cyclone on India's initiative. Weather scientists from these countries made a list of 64 names. There were eight names from every country. This time the nomination was Pakistan's turn. The name 'butterfly' was proposed on Pakistan. Hence the name of the current cyclone was 'Butterfly'. Next is the turn of Oman and Myanmar respectively. The name of the storm that comes after 'butterfly' will be 'luban', which has been proposed by Oman's weather scientists. The cyclonic storm that comes after 'Luban' will be named 'Dahe', which is kept by the Myanmar weather scientists.
