What is Hepatitis-

These include autoimmune hepatitis as well as hepatitis that is secondary to drugs, toxins and alcohol. Immune system hepatitis is an illness that happens when your body makes antibodies against you liver tissue. There are by and large five kinds of hepatitis, including hepatitis A, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, hepatitis D and hepatitis E.
Inflammation in the liver can lead to a serious disease like liver cancer. Hepatitis is a contagious disease, but this does not mean that it is spread by mere touch. Therefore, there is no need to keep any member of the family in isolation when he has this disease, although it is necessary to take some precautions to keep other family members free from infection.
Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver, which is characterized by the presence of inflammatory cells in the liver tissue. There are two kinds of hepatitis, intense and constant. The stage of acute hepatitis occurs when it lasts for at least six months. The stage of chronic hepatitis occurs when it persists for a long time. Hepatitis can be limited or asymptomatic, but it often causes jaundice, anorexia (loss of appetite) and malaise/discomfort.
Hepatitis in India-
According to a study conducted by the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), in the year 2012, in India, about one lakh nineteen thousand cases of Hepatitis Viral were reported. The number of patients suffering from hepatitis increased in the year 2013 and this number increased to two lakh ninety thousand.
In India, the main source of the plague type of hepatitis will be hepatitis E infection (HEV) and hepatitis An infection (HAV) is normal among youngsters. During pregnancy, the most common cause of hepatitis is HEV.
