Kailash Mansarovar Yatra| Uttarakhand's path to the most inaccessible Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is going to be smooth. On this route, one had to travel 79 km on foot in the first six days. Now you will be able to complete this journey in three days by vehicle. Road construction is almost complete here. Passengers will be able to reach Lipulekh along the China border via trains via Almora or Pithoragarh. About 60 km long road between Ghatiyabagar to Lipulekh has been completed. Only 4 km of road remains to be completed, which will be completed by the end of this year.

The construction of the road for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra started from Ghatiyabagar in 2007, but the pace of construction was very slow till 2014. To speed up the work, it was planned to build a road from Gunji bordering China, but it was difficult. The biggest challenge in this was to deliver the equipment to the Gunji at a height of 14 thousand feet. Parts of heavy equipment like JCB, bulldozers, road rollers were transported by helicopter to Gunji. Engineers there assembled them to make machines. Then road construction started from both sides. Engineers, laborers were increased, due to which work is being done rapidly.

Road construction left between Malpa to Budhi -
64 km road is to be built from Ghatiyabagar to Lipulekh. There is 4 km of road construction left from Malpa to Budhi. The work will be closed until April due to snowfall. After that the work will be completed. Vipin Chand Pandey, former tourism officer of the Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam, the organizer of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and who was involved in the first batch of the yatra, says that the journey started in 1981 by this route. Passengers have to pass through dangerous hills. Traveling through the new route will save time. ITBP's 7th Battalion Mirthi - Commandant of Uttarakhand Anupreet Borkar says - We also benefit from the new route, as many soldiers have to be deployed during the yatra. After the construction of the road, they can be deployed elsewhere.

Landslides caused by mountains on one side, deep ditch on the other side. Dainik Bhaskar reached Mangati Nala from Dharchula after traveling inaccessible 35 km. Work is on to widen the road from Dharchula to Mangti Nala. On the way, stone and debris had to be removed with the help of JCB in many places, and in many places, the path had to be filled by filling stones in pits. The car also got stuck in the bad road at several places, which was pulled out with the help of JCB. In this way, Bhaskar reached the Kailash Mansarovar motorable track. During the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, routes are fixed so that pilgrims can reach them easily. After this, debris remains lying on the way. Only people living in nearby villages or ITBP and Army personnel use it.
