Courage: Cancer detected 6 times in 13 years, every time it gets defeated.

How can cancer be defeated with the enthusiasm  which gives a trouble to the patient and the family members. Direct examples of this is Mr. NK Chowdhury of Delhi. 67-year-old NK Chaudhary has cancer 6 times in the past 13 years. Every time they competed against this disease. He has recently treated his sixth cancer treatment at Max Hospital, Vaishali. Due to the smoking and gutkha intake, he was diagnosed with oral cancer for the first time in the year 2005. Since then, he has had cancer twice on tongue, tonsil, jaw and lip. During this, the doctor has given him three times the operation and radiotherapy and chemo five times.

It is commonly said that the cancer patient can be given only once a radiotherapy. But sometimes there is no substitute for cancer only when it is done again, but giving five radiations is shocking. According to the experts, so far no case of cancer and radiation cases have been reported in the medical field so far.

Hospital doctors say that the case of 67-year-old NK Chowdhury has given him many lessons about cancer. The first and most important lesson in this is that if someone is cancerous and becomes healthier through operation or radiation then the possibility of cancer can not be ruled out again. Therefore, patients can be monitored by meeting the cancer specialist every three months after treatment and after every necessary medical examination every six months. This awareness of NK Chowdhury was helpful in reducing cancer six times.

Dr. Dinesh Singh, senior hospital said that NK Chaudhary was the first to have cancer in tongue in 2005. During that time the tumor was removed from laser technology. After this, they remained healthy for two years and continued to carry out medical checkups. In 2007, he complained of throat cancer During that time the doctors saved them through radiotherapy. After this, there was a cancer in tonsil in 2010, which was stopped by chemo and radiotherapy. After this, in 2014, he was diagnosed with carcinoma (behind jaw).

During this, doctors has done the surgery and radiotherapy. After this, in February 2018, he had a tumor on his lower lip. Shortly  the patient complained of cancer again in the tongue. Due to repeated cancer and radiotherapy, chemotherapy, the surgeon and radiation specialist of the hospital studied the matter together. Dr. Dinesh Singh says that he has never read such a case till now nor has he ever seen or heard.

Dr. Dinesh Singh says that NK Chowdhury will be suffered by cancer again or not? Can not say anything about this, but it is of course that after taking treatment for cancer once, the disease can be monitored by regular screening.
